Privacy Notice
Understand what happens to the information you enter, what reaches the office, and how to ask a privacy question.
Effective and last reviewed: November 1, 2026.
Who this notice covers
This notice covers this website representing the National Alumni Association of Arkansas Baptist College, Inc. (NAA / ABC). The Association and Arkansas Baptist College are separate organizations. This notice does not cover the College’s websites or records.
Information you choose to provide
The reconnection form asks for contact information, your relationship to the College, attendance years, general location, professional field, interests, and an optional note. It prepares a message on your device. The office receives it only if you send it through your email app or another method you choose. Preparing or copying the message does not submit it to the Association.
The concern form displays fields for contact details, the issue, previous efforts to address it, follow-up preferences, and supporting documents or pictures. Online concern submission and uploads are currently disabled. Selecting files does not upload them. No report is delivered through that form at present. The notice and form will be updated when a delivery service is connected.
Emails, calls, and documents you separately send to the office are received through those communication channels. Share only what is needed. Avoid sending Social Security numbers, passwords, payment-card numbers, banking credentials, or unrelated private records. Call first about sensitive materials. Standard email is not a confidential document portal.
How office correspondence may be used
Information you send may be used to answer your inquiry, update alumni contact information, discuss membership or participation, coordinate requested support, and review or refer a concern. The reconnection form keeps the choice to request general email updates separate from permission to answer your inquiry. You may ask the office to stop optional updates.
Tell the office whether it should contact you before referring identifying details or documents outside the Association. That preference does not create absolute confidentiality or prevent a disclosure required by law. Information you send may also be processed by the office’s email, communications, or other service providers. A report is not automatically published on this website.
Website visits, hosting, and outside services
Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and authentication information when relevant to operate and protect the website. Their own notices govern their processing. This site currently has no enabled advertising pixels, retargeting tools, or marketing analytics tools.
The HBCU video page requests thumbnail images from YouTube/Google. Those requests may disclose your IP address and browser information to that provider even if you do not play a video. Videos open on YouTube when selected. Maps, social sharing, IRS resources, and other external links take you to services with their own privacy and cookie practices.
The site does not intentionally save form entries in browser local storage or session storage. Your browser, email app, hosting platform, or external services may separately use cookies, autofill, logs, or other storage. No optional advertising or analytics cookies have been added by this website. This notice is not a statement that outside providers use no cookies.
Security, retention, and your requests
No online communication is guaranteed completely secure. Office correspondence may remain in email systems, backups, or records for handling the request and applicable administrative or legal needs. A fixed office retention or deletion schedule has not been verified for this notice.
Contact the office to ask about information you sent, request a correction or deletion, withdraw permission for optional updates, or raise a privacy concern. Identify the request without sending sensitive identification by email. The office may need to verify your identity; applicable recordkeeping, legal obligations, or another person’s privacy may limit a request. This notice does not limit rights available under applicable law.
Children and changes
This site is intended for alumni, College students, families, and community supporters, and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not enter personal information or send records through these forms; a parent or guardian should contact the office instead. Contact the office if you believe a child’s information was sent.
The review date will change when this notice is revised. Material changes to forms, processors, tracking, or information uses require a review of the notice before activation.
