Volunteer ambassador interest

Bring your class together.
Connect your region.

Help NAA / ABC reconnect alumni one class, decade, city, or region at a time. We are inviting expressions of interest in unpaid ambassador service, subject to Association review and approval.

CLASS & DECADE

Reconnect your classmates.

Invite people from your graduating class or years attended to reconnect. Share the website, pass along approved updates, and help gather interest in reunions and conversations.

CITY & REGION

Build local connections.

Help identify alumni in your city, state, or country. Invite them to update their own information and explore ways to participate in approved Association activities.

WORLDWIDE REACH

Help our network travel.

Welcome alumni living overseas and people whose work crosses regions. Help the office understand locations, time zones, and interests for future connections.

A practical volunteer role

One invitation.
A stronger connection.

Serve at a pace that fits your availability. Interest does not create an appointment or authorize you to speak for the Association.

Express interest in serving ↗

What an approved ambassador can help do

  • Invite classmates to complete the reconnection form themselves.
  • Share office-approved news, meeting invitations, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Learn what alumni in your class or region would like to see.
  • Help plan approved conversations, gatherings, and reunion activities.
  • Refer membership, donation, partnership, or College questions to the office.

How to begin

  1. Share your College connection, class or years attended, location, area of interest, and availability.
  2. The office reviews the fit, confirms any existing chapter or class contact, and agrees on the unpaid scope and point of contact.
  3. After approval and orientation, begin personal invitations using the agreed message and check-in process.

No active ambassador roster or new chapters are being announced here. Recognition of a chapter or appointment requires Association authorization.

Clear expectations

Voluntary service.
Respectful outreach.

Ambassador service is unpaid and freely chosen, with no wages, commissions, promised benefits, fundraising quotas, or expectation of a future paid position. You may decline assignments or stop serving. Any expenses require prior written approval; reimbursement is not promised.

Use permission-based, personal outreach. Honor requests to stop contact. Do not buy contact lists or publish alumni details. Do not collect gifts through personal accounts, sign contracts, announce events, or make commitments without authorization.

Ambassadors support NAA / ABC’s charitable mission. They do not replace paid employees, act as College representatives, or automatically receive access to alumni records. Each arrangement must meet applicable volunteer rules.

Help the connection grow

Reconnect. Then invite a classmate.

After sending your reconnection email to the office, help someone else find their way back. Share through your own social accounts, email, or messages. NAA / ABC does not need a social media page for you to invite your network.

Only the public invitation and reconnection link are shared. Your form entries, membership status, and contact details are never included. Nothing posts automatically; you choose the recipient or audience.

Share the public invitation link with classmates and friends. Review your message before sending.
